In the beginning there was the abyss. It was the great void. It was dark, but it was not "darkness" itself.  It was empty as it begins and remained still, but it was not "emptiness" itself.  

Then the Abyss felt itself and became aware of itself.  Suddenly it's own awareness brought light into the dark void of itself. Once the Abyss realized it could feel, it needed something to touch it. The nurturing sense to something that touches someone came into being once the Abyss has a need to feel.

This was the first echo the abyss released; a response to its own self. The abyss was able to echo itself, because it was all that was in existence. It was everything! It was everywhere! So when it felt its need; that need shot across the void just to touch the void again and over and over again; without stop and the need would grow.
