ROCK OPERA  PREVIEW

The Following selections and descriptions are just the early drafts of several Rock Operas by Artist Jahn Kefa currently in pre-production set to be put up for bid to the patrons of the Broadway Stages of New York.

If the musical piece starts off  with a choppy sound, it means the file is still loading as it is trying to play simultaneously. You can let it play for 30 seconds or more and then rewind it to the start.  It should begin to play smoothly then.

"Apostle"

"Apostle" is about the spiritual journey of a multiracial man who looks pasty white; who has been impressioned by the various cultures imposed upon him as he grew.  He takes those influences with him to spread the word of Unconditional Love, and finds many conflicts that oppose him, which makes him re-evaluate his own faith.

The musical pieces demonstrated here composed and produced by Jahn Kefa are earlier renditions of the songs intended to be produced for this Opera. Some are without lyrics originally composed as standalone and unrelated pieces to this epic. These are in the process of being revamped for use as operatic songs to tell this story.

"ACTS"

"Acts" is a Fundamentalist Christian musical rendition of the Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament, using popular contemporary Christian Rock music.

"Acts II" is the sequel to "Jesus Christ Superstar"; being an account from the historical perspective of the actions of the Apostles of Jesus Christ.

 "Apocrypha"

"Apocrypha" is a revealing account of Old Testament Stories that were hidden from believers by the Authorities, due to their controversial nature that may steer followers away from the faith.

"LOVESONGS"

"Lovesongs" is a story of a passionate songwriter who falls in love with every other woman he meets, and fantasizes relationships with each of them, and writes Love songs for them which they never get to hear, as he remains lonely and unconfident that he can win any of their hearts, until one day when he is much older, the perfect companion for him discovers his songs and his loving heart and responds to him with all of her love.

"Kinderkyte"

"Kinderkyte" is the dark and serious musical of the plight of a pedophiliac transvestite school bus driver, who takes it upon himself to be a vigilante against other pedophiles with the philosophy of "If I can't have them neither can you".  As he tries to be a hero, he finds himself fighting with his own villainess qualities which gets him in trouble with the law.

This Opera features the musical numbers composed by Jahn Kefa:
